When people from all over the country need to meet, an airport hotel is a tempting option. They offer quick transfers to and from the airport. They usually have abundant meeting facilities. Maybe I’ve just been unlucky, but I’ve never led a meeting in an airport hotel and thought to myself, “Wow, this place rocks.”

Last evening I led a session for the Minnesota Chapter of the International Coach Federation. My mission was to help a small group of coaches learn more about planning meetings. The meeting was held at The Marsh in The Dragon Room.

Holiday dinners in my family have always been segmented by adults and kids. The adult table had fancy dishes and wine. The kids had the everyday dishes and milk.
