When I lead meetings, I have a variety tools that help me move from point A to point B.
The affinity diagram, sometimes called the affinity map, is one of my favs. I like it because it brings order to the chaos the group is left with after a brainstorming session.
By cleaning up the mess, the tool helps the group make sense of the information, illuminating new patterns and connections. It’s through those insights that the group is able to innovate and solve problems.
